In many places in the world today, effects of Climate Change is strongly visible. Early in the 60’s some groups of environmentalists already warned us, humans about the possible effects to the environment of the abuse that our mother nature suffers from us yet humans remained skeptic about this and treated this as mere theory.

Philippines, Asia – Many have died due to the violent attack of the super typhoon ONDOY and PEPENG. Then, their people, the Filipinos started talking about climate change and perhaps began (hopefully) to realize that climate change is true and not just theories or whatsoever. When will we ever learn? Do we really have to see numbers of lives taken right in front of our very own eyes before we believe that there are certain things that are hard to explain by our own understanding but are truths and facts.

The good thing about the effect of this super typhoon ONDOY and PEPENG is that many eyes have waken and many minds have received the lesson. But will it be for how long, how many lives do we have to see wasted before we ever give care to our environment. Yes, there were good effects such as the helping hands in this time of needs from other people. But as said by most wise men, Prevention is always better than Cure!
